  • Preferred Concept Plan for Bassendean Activity Centre prepared

    Following an extensive community engagement and planning process, the Bassendean Activity Centre preferred concept plan is now complete for the three sites; Wilson Street, BIC Reserve and Bassendean Oval.

    It is anticipated that the redevelopment will help to realise the vision of the Bassendean Town Centre Strategy and in particular be a catalyst for activating Old Perth Road.


    Following an extensive community engagement and planning process, the Bassendean Activity Centre preferred concept plan is now complete for the three sites; Wilson Street, BIC Reserve and Bassendean Oval.

    It is anticipated that the redevelopment will help to realise the vision of the Bassendean Town Centre Strategy and in particular be a catalyst for activating Old Perth Road.

Nominations close on Friday 11th March.

    The project proposes to develop two key sites at the eastern and western entrances to the Bassendean town centre.

    The forums are the next step in an extensive community engagement program offering you the opportunity to hear from the project partners, receive the results of the recent community survey, learn more about the key considerations for the sites and have your say.

    · Tuesday 1 March 6pm to 8pm

    Before the planning process commences and as part of the stakeholder and community engagement program, we are interested to learn what is important to the community about Bassendean via our community survey.
